Hello again, myLot ! 8-7-19

Well, that was a nice outing. The pastor's wife came by around noon and we went to a restaraunt just on the other side of town. I was a little disappointed because I thought it was a buffet all the time, but when we got in and wondered where it was, we were in formed by the waitress that they only did the buffet on certain days. Bummer. Lunch was still good; I ordered my usual, fish and chips, and it was a good portion. It's a couple of hours later and I still feel full. On the way home the pastor's wife reminded me that it was potluck night at church tonight. I hope there's nothing really really good, 'cause I don't want to over-stuff myself. After lunch, since we were close to downtown, we went to a Grocery Outlet store; and I got more than I probably needed; but it was half again as much as what I would have gotten at the regular grocery store for the same price, so it worked out. I will not have to food shop again for a while. There were a few things I didn't get, as I felt like I was already going overboard with the amount of items I was getting, but with the prices they offered things for it was hard not to. I came home, put the groceries away, walked and fed Angel, got dressed for church this evening, and now I am in here saying hello to you folks.
