Keeping track of what day it is

I don't know about you, but when I have a break I can't always remember what day of the week it is!
At work, which is school teaching for me, I have different classes and different private flute students on different days of the week. So I can say, "Oh, I had a faculty meeting this morning so it's Wednesday." "I taught Sunny so it's Tuesday."
In the summer, I find it hard to keep track... especially since half my online friends are still in yesterday!
It's important for me to remember because burnable trash goes out on Monday and Thursday and recycle goes out on Friday. Also, I need to go to church on Sunday since I'm in charge of summer choir!
Do you have a problem remembering what day of the week it is?

What made me think about this was you posting about the end of day 3 and it was Wednesday. I went, "Wait, what? I just took out the Thursday trash."

It happens with me when I am on vacation or my office life is monotonous. Since I am regular enough to not remember what day it is!
I would suggest have a mobile phone and see the calendar once day started and at end of the day so you will stay updated

As long as I keep a fairly regular schedule, I don't have any problem. If there is too much of a change, though, look out.
Yesterday was Tuesday. For the first 5 minutes of my morning I thought it was Sunday! So just a little change in my normal routine threw me off two days.

@petatonicsca Oh no, now I'm totally confused.
I think I've got it figured out: Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. How about that?
That fits no matter what day it actually is.

What helps me is my daily morning prayer and Bible reading which goes according to the day of the month. So first thing I look up the day of the week and date so I can read from the Bible. It also helps that I have to keep up with my online writing so I always make sure I know what day it is. So that if I know it is Wednesday then I can look back in my daily journal and see when I did my last posting where and if another posting is due.

@petatonicsca I have an old Bible that divides up the New and OldTestament for reading passages every day.

True enough. Do you use the Book of Common Prayer?
