~Great First Day!~

Hey everyone I hope you're doing well today! Things are good here. =) God is so good, and He loves you.
Today was very busy and so productive! It was our first school day. The kids impressed me so much! They improved so much from last year-after practicing a bit over summer break. =)
They did an essay about their summer vacation, they did a worksheet on how many states they remembered, we did a very fun math game, did an hour of online learning & a beginning of the year test to see what they have retained from last year and over the summer. =)
We had a lovely first day! Can't wait for tomorrow, I have some good lessons planned including learning about some women in history.

@Nevena83 We learn differently than the schools. We do a lot of hands on, active learning-not just out of a book sitting at a desk. It makes a HUGE difference! =)

@just4him I cannot stand math so we play games to make it more enjoyable! We had a scavenger hunt for the right answers to multiplication problems. =)
