I am so blessed to still have my Mother here with me, and to have a close bond with her, but this song gets me teary Eyed, because this was so Nonna! She would have been 105 August.29, she died at 89, after having battled Cancer Twice, once when I was born!
She was the strong arm of the family, all 4’11 inches of her, but her word was law, she was Nonna, and you did not mess with her Grandchildren!

My grandmother on my father's side was very small; but she was very quiet and never learned to speak English! You are blessed to still have your mother.

Yes I am, my Nonna spoke English, French, Italian (Of course) Latin, and French! She encouraged me in my dreams to become a writer!
