Spectrum is being a pain in the rear end again. I woke up with the intention of starting my day online. Well, the internet was down. It went back up (only long enough for me to complain to my ISP on faceook) but not for long. Now it's up, and no, I really don't know for how long.
Apparently, it's been fluctuating between on and off for the better part of last night and into this morning. It seems it's gone from a weekly occurrence to a multiple times a day occurrence.
While I have internet, I might as well look up the numbers for my ISP so I can call and complain.
Anyone else with Spectrum Internet and Cable having problems?

@JustBhem The internet isn't slow. The internet (as well as television / cable) goes completely down. It's inaccessible.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yeah I agree it sure is a pain. Hope they get it fixed fast I would be telling them they need to take some off your next bill for all this trouble

@Tina30219 You know? I was thinking about that myself. However, it seems to be inconveniencing quite a lot of people, and I just dont' see the company wanting to offer or give money back.

I'm knocking on wood as I write this, so far it's not gone back down. I'm hoping they get it fixed soon. We've had utility work going on both above us and in our neighborhood. So it could have something to do with that, but it's a pain. Online is the only way I earn.

I don't have them. I hate internet problems with a passion. Mine never goes down for long periods of time but it disconnects frequently,which is really annoying. It could be the router I guess, I really don't know.

I think we had problems with a router that would constantly disconnect, finally had to get a new one.
If this happens again, I'm really tempted to call and give them an earful.

I have AT&T and it acts up sometimes. I think that's just the way tech is period.

This has been acting up every week, sometimes twice a week.
We used to have home phone through AT&T. Got rid of it when they wanted to charge us for using life alert when we didn't have life alert.

We have Xfinity, the last few days we’ve had issues with the cable service, but the wifi seems to be okay!

I'm glad your wifi is still going well. Fingers crossed mine wont' go down. I earn money by being online, and so not being online, means bills don't get paid.

Spectrum goes by Charter in some areas.We had time warner here but they merged with spectrum and spectrum did not make anything any better.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Oh man, I hope you didn't experience any outages. We had one scheduled for today, but it was rescheduled because of the heat.
Hopefully if the 5G is installed, you'll have a better connection.

It hasn't happened yet this week, and I hope it doesn't. We think that they might be putting 5G in for our area, which might be part of the reason why we are experiencing some of the outages.
*knock on wood* that it doesn't happen this week at all.

If you are using cable internet there surely they need to do a health check There might be connectivity issue with jack ... or wore issue at your modem end or at their peers. Usually jack changes works perfectly. Try to ask them to visit your place and check it out.

It's not just the internet, it's the t.v. as well. So it's not just an issue with our equipment, but more likely an issue with their equipment elsewhere. The internet has been going down for many spectrum customers.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I didn't knew that ISP is one who provide tv as well. Here we have different providers. One for internet and another for cable. This way Both wires are different and doesn't interfere.
Okay since it has impacted more than one user then yes it will be their problem. Hope it resolves soon.

I have spectrum. I paid my bill like 2 weeks ago and i was mad because for two days it wasn't working. They kept passing me to different representatives and nothing. Just to find out the problem was on their end.

It's so odd, because I know two other people with spectrum in my area and they haven't had any problems. I've had to deal with outages of internet and cable for the past few weeks.
They need to get their act together. It was better when it was TWC.

They are a pain. They made things worse. Several years ago they merged with TWC and they messed with our channels, and now seem to be content to not give us service on a regular basis.

@CarolDM If this keeps persisting I might suggest we get dish network. I've used them in the past and had little to no interruption.
