Gotta Love Those Lawyers

There's nothing quite like a lawyer. If there's misery, he or she will gladly sue the cause.
Earlier this year we had an apparently racially-motivated shooting at a Kroger grocery store in town. Two people were killed.
To probably nobody's surprise, yesterday the local news announced that a lawyer has been hired to sue Kroger for the shooting.
I think that's one of the problems in our country. We're blaming Trump & Obama, Smith & Wesson, the store, the next-door neighbor....everybody except who actually did the crime.
I don't blame Kroger, anymore than I blame Wal-Mart for El Paso, McDonald's for San Yisidro, or Luby's for Kileen. I blame who did it.
I saw a meme on Facebook that said, "In 20 years, we'll have commercials from attorneys saying if we were offended by something on Facebook we may be entitled to financial compensation." Sad but true.

Love 'em or hate 'em, lawyers do a job just like the rest of us. They are not in the business to be warm and cozy with everyone, they are in the business to protect someone's rights. Granted some of them take things way too far.
I am not a lawyer, but I went to law school for a while. (Dropped out when it became too hard on my family) One of the first things I learned was the meaning of 'reasonable' it means that two lawyers have a job. (Supposed to be a joke but it is a sad one and true.)
