Good morning MyLot friends. I hope you are all waking up to a beautiful day.
I finally got a good night's sleep. I slept all night long and didn't wake up in the wee hours of the morning. I did wake up before hubby's alarm though, but that isn't too bad.
We are under another heat advisory today with temperatures getting even higher than the 107 degrees of yesterday. The high today will be from 110 to 115 with the heat index factored in.
We have to travel to Baton Rouge today because I have an eye doctor appointment this afternoon. I am going to try to leave early as I have no idea where this place is. The medical clinic built a brand new building and it is in a part of town that I'm not familiar with. I also need to drop my mother off at one of my daughter's house so she won't be sitting in the waiting room alone and waiting for me for an hour or so.
I also have some phone calls to make so that will round out my day.

It is a bad day for me.. My application for a new phone was turned down. I had to wait for another three months to reapply.

@kareng I don't know why they reject my application. I have to get one for my present phone didn't function due to tis battery won't charge.

@just4him Look on the bright side, that is better than gaining 1 lb. Did you go in the afternoon? I was told some years back that you weigh on average 2 lbs more in the afternoon after eating lunch and fluid build up. So if you factor that in, you lost 3 lbs.

ick, don't envy y'all that heat, hon. glad here 'tis mostly a dry'un. i stalked blue dragonflies fer a couple hours this morn ('n 'twixt some pony 'n gardenin' time) jest to find one sittin' peacefully'n the hummin'bird feeders hook, lol. 'tis 'nly taken 2 months, but i've finally a decent pic 'f one. yup, i'm a happy camper!

@kareng that'd be handy, eh? lol! got kind'a busy 'round here this eve 'n i've yet to dribble anythin'. been busy readin' other folks schtuff 'n whittlin' through notifications. i jest don't feel comfy postin' somethin' 'til such's done.
