Yippee, I finally got it

afghan
Canada

This morning I wrote a post "Finished my afghan" but unfortunately I could not post a photo of it due to a server error. So I am trying again but on Bing rather than Google. Hope this will work. The afghan was crocheted over a period of about two months and finished two weeks ago. It does not usually take that long to crochet an afghan but it was rather too hot and muggy at times this summer to work with yarn. The finished afghan was realized with a crochet number 5.5 (metric) and Phentex yarn, not the old nylon type Phentex but rather a soft blue-turquoise color yarn. And now I will upload the photo... Thank you for reading.

I hope that you can get it to upload. You don't have to keep making a discussion, you can edit this discussion to try to add the photo again. It might be that the photo is too big.

@frankie2013 It could be a mylot error and not anything you are doing wrong. I know there is a size limit but I forget what that limit is. I usually upload to facebook (from my phone) and then save to the computer and upload to mylot from there.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Thank you very much for your explanation. I will try to take maybe a smaller picture or a bite size of the afghan...

Oh my, that turned out beautifully! I really like the colors. What is the name of the pattern? I crochet all the time, lately it's shawls for a local cancer center. But I love working on afghans. I started one for my husband, in his football teams colors of purple and gold and included some black using the waffle stitch. But it's gotten very hot and that waffle stitch makes a heavy fabric do that's on hold until this fall. Then I'm wanting to make a wedding present afghan for my friends daughter, but I've got a year to figure out what pattern to use for that.

Thank you so much for your compliment/comment. I do not remember off hand the name of the pattern. It was on the paper on the Phentex ball of wool. I will have to check if I still have it... You certainly seem to crochet a lot. Do you also maybe knit, cross stitch, tat? I really enjoy keeping my fingers moving and nimble. I love all the crafts I do. Again a big thanks....
