Another Island Off my List

July 29th when my friend and I hit the road and I drove about 120km to Culasi Antique and from there took a 20-minute boat ride to reach this beautiful island. It was raining when we got there but it wasn't stormy. We were lucky. Nobody was there because it's off season. We owned the island during our two day stay there.
We arrived late in the afternoon and just rested a bit to have dinner. The following day we went on hiking and we saw the view of the island from the top. It was breathtaking. We also saw the pitcher plant which we can find only in this island.
After hiking up the mountain, we went snorkelling and swam with the fish. It was such a beautiful day and I am missing the sea already.
I wish to visit another beautiful island soon.

Yes, we owned the whole resort and the staff were very kind. They cooked the food that we requested. There was no phone signal in the island. It was a real paradise.

@rsa101 It's an island that's far away. There are many islands like that with no phone signal. I had been to one about 5 years ago too and in loved it there as well.

@JustBhem Right after this island, I drove for about an hour to another beautiful place with waterfalls and a white sand beach.

WE were lucky the weather cooperated. Though it rained, the rain stopped while we were hiking and snorkelling. When we left the island there was a tropical storm.

The island is called Malalison. Culasi is just where we took the boat from.

That looks like a really gorgeous island. I am glad that you hiked up the mountain to see the view. It must have been delightful to go snorkeling and see all the brightly colored fish. I hope that you visit another lovely island soon. In the autumn of 2017 we visited Madeira in the Atlantic Sea. We had a bumpy time on the plane before landing. I loved its bright colored flowers, blue waterfalls and green mountains. In the winter of 2018 we visited the island of Sri Lanka, We went on a day trip to see a white sandy beach which was surrounded by palm trees. I sat my children in a shady area though soon it got so hot we had to leave that stunning looking beach. We went on a train to see a lakeside town where we could visit The Temple of the Tooth. This year we visited Hawaii and went to Honolulu Zoo.
