A new Laptop for my birthday.

I was out for a long time. Hope you missed me. My 12 year old laptop finally bade good-bye. It was just a gadget but I did feel sad when my Darbus totally crashed
Took me sometime to canvass for another unit. Truth is, I do not know what to ask for. My only concern was the budget. And, so long as I could facebook and mylot and netflix, I'd be fine.
So, I am back. My new laptop is a slower version of the old one, which makes me ponder how the old are sturdier than the new. But that's another story.
Right now, I am just glad to be back. Just posting this before I go to sleep. My birthday tomorrow.
I sincerely hope you missed me.

Thank you, dear friend. I didn't think I would have one for my birthday. Our finances are so tight because of so many activities. My girls took pity on me, I think, and pitched in. Grateful.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Yes, I am enjoying the new gadget very much. Not much time these days to sit and mylot though, there's much errands to attend to. Busy has been my company for several days now.

Welcome Back! That's the most important thing here as you were able to post on mylot. And wishing you Happy Birthday 
I am wondering what is the configuration of new laptop. And what was of old laptop. Just tell me RAM,processor. It might be lower with the configuration but it should be faster as compared to 12 year old laptop.

Afraid though I do not know how to answer your question. I suppose though you are correct because my daughter connected the new one to the television. The old one has no provision for that.

@freelancermariagrace truth is, my daughters knew that I'd turn irritable pestering them if I am not preoccupied with the mylot and facebook and netflix. The laptop is the sane option for them Ha ha.

The girls were so busy and it took us some time to canvass a suitable unit for my internet activities. Ha ha. As if....
My android was pathetic but my daughter was able to install a storage. Now I have a messenger there, too. Albeit no data. So I can't still use it when I'm driving. Hu hu

I got pretty excited because this new laptop could be connected to the television. Now I can watch netflix on a bigger screen. Ha ha

My birthday dinner with my girls was heartwarming. The restaurant where we are even gave me a cassava cake with a candle. I am very thankful for another year. God loves me so.
