Right place at the right time for a mom of a 20 month old girl who fell ill

Lifeguards in my view of the world are underrated when it comes to getting their good deeds publicized in the national news.
At the Wellington Aquatic Center in Wellington Florida nine days ago, Christina Martinez was at the pool watching her two sons who are part of a diving team in practice when her 20 month old daughter suffered a seizure while she was in her arms.
Four lifeguards came to the rescue of the young girl after Christina had called 911 to send help to revive her daughter by placing an oxygen mask on her so she could recover quickly from her health scare.
Christina is grateful that the lifeguards were there to assist her daughter who fell ill inside the complex. My respect goes to the four lifeguards who did their job to assist people in need.

A good job for the lifeguards who revived the kid from her seizure.

They are being called heroes by Christina for saving her daughters life.

@Deepizzaguy But actually it's their dutiesband responsibilities to save lives. They're there as lifeguards in the pool but aside from they're also bound to render service beyond their area of responsibility as the case may be.

That is wonderful to hear. I am so glad that they did what they could to assist her. I think lifeguards are required to take a basic first aid course before becoming lifeguards.

I believe that all lifeguards are required to learn how to save lives as well. In my book they do not get the same attention for saving lives that others do.

@Deepizzaguy They really should get a lot of attention. There is a lot of danger in water.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I agree with you since water rescue are just as dangerous as fire rescues.

This is when their training is the most important. I'm glad they were there to assist her.
