So we had back to school night today and it was good! I like both of my kids home room teachers. My daughters class has two which makes senses because her class has the students that are having a hard time or special needs. Our daughter is dyslexic and she is in the special needs and sees her resource teacher during the school year daily.
When we got to our daughter’s class we had to wait 30 minutes for her teacher to get there we noticed her short name was spelled wrong. She has Maddie. Which we don’t spell Her short name that way. It’s Maddy. I know odd but we did that way because it wouldn’t be often she would run into another Maddy. I’m assuming on the school paper work online they saw Maddy and some how changed it to ie instead so we fixed that tonight after open house closed.
We warned the teacher that she will probably tell them that.

I hadn’t meet there teachers in the last post. Just thee assignments tonight we meet them. The kids meet them in the morning. I thought after meeting all 3 that they seem very nice. My son did say his teacher that he had heard from other students that she is nice.

@Janet357 it changes form state to state and county to county or districts. My kids county fire 6 hours a day. It’s not that bad the kids seem to do well. I had school for 8 hours day.

I didn’t say! It’s pribbaly they just saw it on her paper work and wrote down form glance. Typically if someone has a short name of Maddy it’s spelled with ie instead of why it’s and easy mistake. Growing up my name the first few days of school was always spelled wrong. It was always Celesta and we would We would have to correct the school and the teachers roll check.
Our kids everything is online so the secretary or her own teacher might have just saw it and wrote down wrong. No big deal. They are going to change it. Her teacher said she was doing that today before tomorrow.
