Let Me Put This Into Perspective

I attend a church that has been a part of this community for about 165 years, the original building was burned in 1950, except for a few pieces of furniture that survived including one of the Original Pews now located in the lower Sanctuary but most everything was burned and by 1954, a replica of the Church was rebuilt, the Faith Hall wasn’t added until 2000 but now serves as a place to feed the hungry, offer showers and other basic needs but I digress.,, The Church has been made handicap accessible we have wheelchairs for those who need them, hearing devices, and other implements! These things are important to me because I have a disability that sometimes requires me to use a Cane, and I’m supposed to use AFOS, but they are hot and uncomfortable! I’ve been to more modern churches that didn’t have that level of access, so you grow to appreciate things like that

I think all buildings are now required to provide facilities accessible to PWD.
