Watching an episode of Garfield got me thinking earlier. In the show, Garfield loves lasagna, and I know of some people in real life who feed their animals person food. If you have an animal/pet, do you? As a secondary question, is it actually ok to feed a cat lasagna? Image is clipart from longfordpc.com

No, it's not a good idea to give pets people food for a lot of reasons. There were times when we gave them little bites of something or on Sunday mornings I used to scramble an egg and split it between the two dogs. Eggs are good for them.

they can eat small amounts-but leave out onion. most cats won't like the tomato anyway..but having said that,i had a couple of oddballs that did like it.

It is probably not a good idea at all but my cat has tried things like spaghetti and seems to enjoy it and then never wants it again. I feed mine wet cat food.

The only people food I give my dog, is meat cooked or raw hamburger at times. Sometimes I give Kobe egg.

@jnrdutton I have both DVD's of Garfied and watched them not too long ago. When I had my dog and cat I fed them rice I made and tuna but my Sophie I only feed cat food.

I love Garfield, always have, but I never feed my cats anything but cats food. With one exception. Once in a blue moon Brendel will smell baked chicken and start meowing. I will give her 3-4 bites of lean white meat and she loves it. But thus only happens every now and then.
