Ryan Collins who is 11 years of age is a young man that I admire since he shows that he is one grateful young man who spent one year at Lurie's Children Hospital battling pediatric cancer. Ryan was cured from his cancer battle by having a medulla blastoma removed from the base of his skull by the physicians. The illness caused Ryan headaches and vomiting. Ryan then started a lemonade stand called "Ryan's Hope" that raised $4,300 dollars that he and his relatives went to the local hospital where he was treated as a way of assisting other cancer patients who are currently being treated for these types of cancer related illnesses. It is nice to see a young man giving back to the people who assisted him during his health challenge.

So young yet very responsible boy. Such a tough break this child is going through. Maybe Chasing the Cure with Ann Curry can help him?

@Deepizzaguy I hope Ryan finds out about it. Just last night I saw a 30 min. run of it when it usually airs tonight in Oahu. One I was very curious about was a mother and daughter who is going blind. Chasing the cure is going to help them and got them the right things to do and they'll be able to see again. After an exhaustive search for help and cures, with nothing working luckily Chasing the Cure has aired recently to help them.

He did a great business to earn that much at his lemonade stand and donate the money to the hospital. That's wonderful.

I like the way he has being brought up by his parents to be grateful to those who helped him during his time being treated for his illness by giving back money from his lemonade stand business.

That is nice of him to really make an effort to pass on the blessing of life he received from that hospital. No matter how big or small his contribution for as long as it was given from his heart that will be good already.
