1905 - Ernie Bushmiller was born. He was an American cartoonist that was famous for creating the comic strip "Nancy" which premiered in 1938. He died in 1982.
1912 - Gene Kelly was born. He was an American actor, singer, dancer, film director, producer and choreographer. Some of his most famous movies: An American in Paris, Singin' in the Rain (see below) and Anchors Aweigh. He died in 1996.
1931 - Barbara Eden was born. She is an American film, stage and TV actress and singer best known for her role of Jeannie on I Dream of Jeannie.
