I do not know how it is in India, but I would call a university hospital and ask how to do it.

Mimpi! I think your motive for which your started the discussion is appear to have perhaps been misunderstood by your dear friends Mithra and Apsara. It appears to me that they have taken it very seriously and since they feel themselves close to you and vice versa...they are not just willing to see/read the discussion on its surface. Though you have clarified to them, yet I would request you to clarify them again...what was your actual motive in starting the discussion. Now my reply" I would also like to donate my organs once I am not alive. I feel that if my organs can help others in living a happy life, it must be donated. Not a bad idea on your part. We both will have to find out/check out the organisations/NGOs which can help us donate our organs once we are gone from here.

Deepak, you have aways understood me and I am thankful for that. What is there in this post to stoop low! I cannot understand. Anyways, I am glad that you have understood my point. I am not here to convert others to my belief but to share my thoughts and to gather more information about it. That's it. Thanks.

It's perfectly O.K If you have raised this discussion out of curiosity.Well is it not a general tendency not to talk about these things though we know the inevitable?Let us be happy and bring happiness to all we know throughout our life.Let us find comfort and affection in each other and make the life as lively as possible.Let us savor every moment of the precious life. That's it.

Dear mimpi, I suddenly came across this one year old discussion of yours and suddenly I found tears twinkling in my eyes........one year has passed dear, have you changed you mind. It is hard to even imagine you in that condition....I know you are thinking of good humanitarian cause....lucky will be person who will see from your beautiful eyes and who will have that wonderful heart beating there.......but still mimpi.....I don't like the idea.......I feel uncomfortable .......May you live long long long and happy life.........lots of love

Indian people are not very superstitions but they are very very emotional and loving and that it why it hurts....we feel more at heart than we think in brain.......lol. Final decision is based on the person who has to decide....what can I say.....thanks anyway.

I feel that we should donate our body organs for the good of ppl in general. That’s how I feel and for that reason alone I wanted to know of some authenticate centres. Apsara, here I am not pessimistic and this post would not reduce my life span in any way, as ILUVU has pointed out rightly. smiles...
