Notes On Rhett Akins & Thomas Rhett

I was watching an interview w/1990's country singer Rhett Akins. In it he was talking about touring w/his son Thomas Rhett (aka T.R.) I thought it was pretty cool. T.R.'s music is very different in a lot of ways from his dad's old stuff that I'm familiar with.
T.R is not an artist that "rides the coat tails" of his dad, he's genuinely talented in his own right, and I respect that a lot.
