I Love My Croatian Friends!!!!

My Croatian Friends are the BEST!!!! A couple of days I posted on here about how excited my American husband and I were to be invited to the Croatian picnic. Technically everyone who heard about it was invited because Croats want to share their culture with everyone they can, but I was extra happy to have friends there who were expecting my husband and I. We did not know we needed to bring our own lawn chairs, but they were way ahead of us, and brought extra chairs for whomever needed them. Also, no sooner did we get there, than our happy band of friends were buying us beer and cognac. Yay!!! And food! Oh, the food was wonderful. Cevapcici (little skinless sausages), and burgers, and a red pepper paste called Ajvar, that we'd never tasted before. It was a fantastic day, and we can't wait till the next one!!!
