Next month brings one of the biggest events of my life. I get to go to Readers on the River in Louisville, Kentucky!
There will 23 authors there and many of my favorites. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me as this convention is so expensive. For two tickets, it was over $300. That's not counting the hotel.
The tickets are non-refundable and at the time we were going to use tax money to pay everything off but then my husband's hours got cut so it kind of put us in a bind. No matter what though my husband wouldn't let me resell the tickets. Yeah, he's just awesome lol. He doesn't even like reading, yet he's going with me and going to help me get a few books signed.
They even have a few people doing a countdown to the even. There's going to be an 80's themed after party on Saturday I think.
I can't wait to take pictures and meet the few authors that I've been talking to over the past few months.
Are there any bog readers here?

It really is. It was why I chose this year to go. It won't happen again so I want to make the best of it :)
