Day 26 Promise 28 Genesis 31:3 And the LORD said unto Jacob, “Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.” 13 “I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointed the pillar, and where thou vowed a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.” How do you know it’s time to leave your job, home, family, and friends? Jacob arrived in Padanaram and the home of his mother’s brother, Laban. He served Laban seven years for Rachel as his wife but was given Leah instead. He then served Laban seven more years for Rachel. During the time of his service to Laban, Jacob sired eleven sons and one daughter before God told him it was time to leave and return home. Many times, you don’t know when it’s time to change jobs, leave your parent’s home to raise your families, and make new friends. However, when you spend time with God in prayer and Bible study, God will lead you where you need to go. Let God guide your life and you will always be in the right place.
