Eric Church & His Aviator Sunglasses

A lot of people wonder about Eric Church & his famed aviator sunglasses. I just thought maybe he liked them, or whatever. I found out recently though it's evidently not a fashion statement. It's not to make him "cooler", him wearing them just got started because of the lighting at his shows. Eric wears contacts, but the heat from the stage lights dries them out according to what I read online.The sunglasses protect his contacts from the heat of the lights. Even if he does wear them out of necessity more than as a fashion statement, I think he rocks them.
