On Ganesh Chaturthi Hindus all over India offer puja.

Ganesh Puja or Ganesh Chaturthi is the day for puja of Lord Ganesha. It is the elephant God. Hindus in different parts of India bring idols of Lord Ganesha, offer flowers and fruits to the Gods. Sanskrit Mantras are chanted to the God. The puja continues for 10 days.
