repairing things

i would like to learn how to repair things or how to make something with the tools and all these things.
my grandpa knew how to do that and he would always fixed things when they needed to be fixed, so we never had to call repairman. my friend's mom fixed their laundry machine following some youtube instructions, isn't that awesome?
or what about painting walls? do you do it yourself or you call someone else to do it?
my parents never liked the idea of us painting the walls because they want someone who knows how to do it properly to paint them, they don't want to mess it up.
i always though it would be fun to paint the walls together. hopefully i'll do it someday.

My husband and I fix things around the house. It helps save money when a lot of things you really don’t need a professional for. Painting is easy I’ve done it many times. I even payed my own bed room at age 12 it was purple.

my dad isn't a fan of fixing things, butmy mother fixes what she can. for painting we always call someone.

@aureategloom painting is real easy especially walls wood is different because you need to sand it first then prime and paint.

I learned to diy so many things despite my late father not approving of it, he believes that to make money is the most important thing and just pay people to do it, my belief was saving money is a form of making monet plus the satisfaction I get from achieving something.

i watched some diy tutorials, but i never actually tried to make something. but my brother does that all the time and he always has some ideas he saw on youtube. and i agree about the last one.

yeah, i remember boys used to do that to computers and they always put the parts back correctly and everything worked. i was always afraid of doing so. my room was pink once, now it's white.
