1836 - Sam Houston is elected as the first president of the Republic of Texas.
1882 - The first United States Labor Day parade is held in New York City.
1946 - Freddie Mercury was born. He was a Tanzanian-English singer, songwriter and producer. He was the lead singer of the rock band, Queen and had a four-octave vocal range. Some of Queen's famous songs: Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Another One Bites the Dust (see below). He died in 1991.
1951 - Michael Keaton was born. He is an actor, producer and director. Some of his well-known movies: Night Shift, Mr. Mom, Johnny Dangerously, Beetlejuice, Batman, Batman Returns, Dream Team, Multiplicity, The Other Guys, Robocop and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

I am going to have pizza for dinner but I will have more on it then just cheese. Freddie Mercury was amazing. I really liked the movie too. I am also a Michael Keaton fan.
