So Proud Of The Man He Has Become

Hello fellow mylotters!! Hope every one is doing well!! If any of you have read any of my posts, you will know that "we" (now that I am back with my ex husband again) had a son that was in and out of trouble most of his teen years. As a single parent raising other children, I felt it was in the best interest of my other children that my oldest be placed in placements. He was in them so much, he knew their rules, that if you be good, you could go home. However, when he was home, he ended right back in those placements. When he turned 17 and he was still going in and out of placements, I knew that if he kept on the path he was going once he turned the age when they would consider him an adult those placements wouldn't be where he would go, he'd be going to prison!! So, I talked to his dad and sent him to live with his dad. Fast forward 14 years, our son has 2 daughters of his own now. Our son had hired a lawyer because his second ex wife wasn't following the visitation. He was finally getting visitation and then she was having visits from the State and was found using/having drugs in her possession. All three of her children were removed from her custody. Luckily our son already had a lawyer and he now has permanent custody of his daughter!!! It's nice to see that our son has gotten his life turned around and knows that I was doing the best I could do to get him help when he was getting in trouble. In fact, he even apologized and said thank-you!! We are both proud of the man he has become!!
