My Oldest sister works at McDonalds. And her God son is her boss so that means. She had to do what ever he says. She said she came to work with sneakers on. and not her work shoes. And her boss her God Son sent her home to her her work shoes. He did order her a lyft to get home. And to get back to work and he asked her. Was she coming back to work. This is why I am glad I work online. And I don't work for no one out here.

That can actually be a safety issue in a commercial kitchen. The floors are often very slippery, and regular sneakers cannot grip the floor like specially-designed slip resistant shoes can. If she's injured because she slips and falls and the manager on duty knew and allowed it, it's their neck on the line. He was completely right to send her home regardless of his personal relationship to her, and ordering her a Lyft was more than generous.
