Hello from Bryce Canyon, Utah! I thought I would pop in quick. It’s 0745 am here and we just woke up. Yesterday’s day of travel was exhausting but we managed to get in a couple of good hikes, including one where the elevation gain was over 500 feet. Hate those inclines, but we were able get to hike down in the “hoodoos” and see a couple beautiful trails. Bryce Canyon, the city, is super small town-y with just a few businesses, a huge variance in high and low temps (low today is 35 F High of 74), and elevation of 8000 feet. Next we are moving on to Zion National Park today. Wish us luck!

The Bryce Canyon looks really beautiful indeed. The trails must have been enjoyable although in places it was quite hilly for you. I hope that you will find Zion Park really stunning. I wish you lots of luck on your continued journey.

I would like to go there and to Zion sometime. I have heard they are even better than the Grand Canyon, which is of course magnificent.

Yes! So far Bryce Canyon was most spectacular, but Zion is pretty too! Just wish there were more short hikes (2-3 miles) instead of having so many long 7-8 mile hikes!
