If I Live a Hundred Years...

I can’t imagine if I reach this age limit. It’s uncertain what life has to be and thinking how senile I am during the time, I would be more of a burden to those around me. Although, no one is certain how many years a person can live, there is a boundary we can speculate. Some were unfortunate to die young, while others have their luck becoming a centenarian. I don’t know if I would be thankful if reach that age considering the circumstances, though life is always a blessing for me. I’d seen a documentary regarding those aged people in some areas of the country and it’s heartbreaking to witness one of the women who just wished to die that moment because she’s tired of her condition. I don´t think I will live that long. I don´t want to think of that time because it is depressing. Just LIVE!

@ZedSmart Yes, it will be an addition of stress and fear to think about that negative future.

You have a point there Ms. T because if we have to think about that, it's just an addition to our stress.

no one knows how longer they can live but after some age people wish they die as soon as possible as they are in that situation that cant do anything because they not fit physically so need other for them. This is what i said after seeing many old people.

It's depressing to see people of old age but was not given proper care and attention because the family they left are also struggling to make a living.

It would all depend on the health aspects as to whether I would want to live that long. My mother was recently diagnosed with dementia. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It's tough on her and me, as her caretaker.

Yes, there are things to be given a consideration though, we cannot resist if we reach that old age and suffering. I'm sorry to hear the condition of your mother. I wish any of your siblings or relatives can help you on taking care of her.

I may not live that long. It is perhaps a daunting thought as we do not want to be a burden.

You are true because it's not arguable that we do not have the capacity to support ourselves financially and physically during that time.

Given the pollution, junk food and stressful pace today, surviving up to a hundred years would be a miracle. But I believe how long we live also depends on our genes. What really matters is the quality of our lives.

That's very true and if possible that we can reach that age, we can't do anything for that but to accept.

Do you like to live that long? I think that's not a problem if we have the energy and vigor during our youth.
