On September 11, 2001, terror struck America.
We (my nation) solemnly vowed never to forget the atrocity, the people responsible, and the lives lost that day.
It's 18 years on, and it seems like many HAVE forgotten. I write this as a reminder, and a tribute to the victims. My heart still (and forever will) go out to the families of those victims, whose lives were permanently changed.

Yes, I remember sitting in that classroom in NY watching as classmates ran out crying because they had family members who worked there.
I'll never forget.
And today for the first time ever I saw the photo called "The Falling Man", my heart broke all over again.

My heart will never forget and still goes on to these victims and their families. I was shocked many firemen lost their lives trying to save the people. On British newspapers the front page showed some people jumping off the building to avoid being burnt alive. Sorry the people had been told "stay at your desks". They got in very much danger before they could try to leave the burning building. I visited Los Angeles months after that and there was a solemn feeling. Poor America with the worst ever terrorist event. Rest in peace all the victims.
