Last night was boyfriends turn to pick. He chose pulled pork, so it was a fairly easy meal to make.
Pork roast was $10.11, probably about $0.50 of BBQ sauce, $1.00 worth of Sweet Hawaiian Rolls and $0.75 of french fries.
$13.36 to feed four of us. Not too bad.
I am pretty easy with my BBQ sauce because I have a slightly picky family to feed, and we always use Sweet Baby Ray's. At any given time we have 2 or 3 bottles in the house. (The same goes for ketchup).
What did you have for dinner last night? Did you cook, or did someone else?

That sounds good. I have a pork loin in the slow cooker now for dinner for tonight. Last night we had an easy meal, fish sticks and leftover veggies: broccoli and/or green beans and mac and cheese for dinner.
That wasn't my choice, but the hubby's choice. I cooked salmon the night before and would have waited until later in the week for fish again. Oh well. He was happy.

We are doing shepards pie tonight. Another one of the boyfriends choices. I dont mind, we have very similar tastes in food, so I generally have no arguments in what he picks. Although he says he doesnt mind what I cook since I know what he likes.

@thislittlepennyearns We also have similar tastes here. I just have to watch the texture and thickness of things for my mom to eat since she is staying with us right now.
