Negligence caused twin towers to fall

I didn't wanna talk about 9-11 yesterday because of so many things i had to do. But didn't you know that few years back there was one expert that was ignored about the warnings of the world center's vulnerability. Now they got a new World Trade Center, strict security on the airports and Marshall's on the commercial planes. I wonder what security they put in this new tower, hope it's a rocket launcher.
The events of 9/11 as they unfolded through actual audio of First Responders, Air Traffic Controllers, Dispatch Personnel, Airline Employees, Pilots, Citizen...

Been to this place and saw the ground zero which is now converted into a memorial and a park. I also was able to enter the museum for this and it was like horrible to see those thick twisted metals like they were plastic that easily got bended and twisted. If you would look at the base of the building it was really tough and unimaginable to see them falling down because of the metal they used to erect the building. I truly think that it was a security lapse on their part that they ignored that is why terrorist was able to take advantage of that.

Hello @rsa101 Too bad you didn't get to see it before it was attacked. I think the building was just too old to withstand a huge airplane like that. I hope people have learn from their mistakes.

@Letranknight2015 soon it will be forgotten in time and will become a story. The museum stand as a reminder of that one.

@rsa101 it's impossible for them not to know that unless they don't watch it.

@Letranknight2015 I believe it has to the point of even regular people have a hard time to get around it. Especially at the airports now.

It seems natural my friend when national security is talked by ordinary people nobody would be especially those who are in the government. They might be accused of threat or rumor mongering.

Hello @Nakitakona I think the movie executive decision gave the terrorist that idea. Even prejudice was so rampant back then.

I also hold the view that negligence led to the 9/11 debacle. Authorities should have been more circumspect, discerning and judicious.

Hello @jenniferdelirious The first bombing of the building should have considered a lesson for them to be more prepared and be more strict with security. Not to mention to prepare for any possible attack in the future. I think a certain movie in my opinion gave them an idea about attacking buildings @Writingghost

Wow! I can't even imagine the carnage and how you prepare for that. I find it shameful to judge those so harshly who were doing their best to deal with something that was not expected and had not been dealt with before. I bet their training manual didn't have a section that said "what to do if two different airplanes take out buildings in a major city?"

Wow, I can't imagine that a rocker launcher would do anything but hurt more people and many of them innocent - damage from the fall out.

Hello @Writingghost I thought about it maybe It might not deflect the plane that size after all even a javelin missile won't be able to deflect that. Yeah, I agree, there are still people that were going to die.
