Big flood overflows the bridge!

We're awakened by the noise of the people who panicked while evacuating their houses due to the flood. There was a storm and heavy rain was pouring.
We're lucky that our home is a bit high and there is a firewall surrounding the whole lot so, the water wasn't able to get in compared to some of our neighbors.
It was a scary situation but good thing there's no one hurt.

Does this happens yesterday. Yesterday the rain (though not so hard) never stop for the whole day in my area. I'm glad it seems better now.

@renicemae I see but maybe most rains happens in the mountains that stream through the river that overflows.

@renicemae I see, so sorry to hear about that flash flooding you saw there. Government should do something about that. Maybe there is clogging in the river that it inundated your area.

In Zamboanga City in Mindanao area. We live near that bridge but our house has a firewall surrounding the whole area so the flood wasnt able to get in unlike other houses. And by the way, it is the first time that this kind of big flood happened in this area.

Floods are no fun at all. I am glad you will not be in a flood and sorry your neighbors had to go through it.
