It's 7 p.m. as I type this. Today I got home at around 5 p.m., which is usually the time I get off, but all of the kids in the preschool room were picked up earlier than usual. Today I was at work at 7:30 a.m. I expected my boss to show up and help me out some, but she couldn't/didn't until the kids went down for their nap, and I had an hour lunch break. Things weren't too bad, even though I was in the preschool room entirely by myself (no other teachers) while the kids were awake. There were only seven of them, so it wasn't too bad. The last half of the day we spent inside, because it got so hot ! Then at one point the teacher from upstairs brought out popsicles and said there were enough for the children that were left in my class and me, so we went outside to eat them, after a couple of them were done, they proceeded to start playing out in the yard, and I was like, seriously!?!?! I guess when I was 3-5 years old I didn't care about 100 degree/nearly 100 degree temperatures, either, but... After a few minutes, I had everyone come back in. The children got out toys to play with, and one by one they left. I finished up everything there, came home, and walked/fed Angel, called the Health Center about some "labs" I have to get done, and then took a shower and now I'm in here.
