A Little Bit of Sunshine

Amongst my recent dahlia purchases was this little beauty. It was a bit slow to show me what it had to offer but, as the days get shorter and the sun less powerful, it's lovely to walk out in the garden and be greeted by this ray of sunshine!
It seems fitting with the turning of the leaves on the trees beyond our garden which are beginning to show a little bit of gold, red and yellow.

It's getting a bit old - been there for over 20 years - but the little beetles and bees love it. You can sometimes hear them nibbling away at it!

look like you have lots of flowers in the garden. i like dahlia flower because they hare healthy haha. what a beautiful orange color.
