i brought my ipad fully-charged. but after using it for three hours, or four, from 100% it dwindled to 24%. and same thing happened to my phone. i must admit, i used my gadgets nonstop. i wish their batteries could last for 24 hrs. what about your gadgets?

i tend to purchase the cheapest'f these sort'a thingies'n with that comes poor battery life. i've forgone usin' the battery'n my laptop coz such lasts 'bout 1 1/2 hours. bought a new battery, such lasted 'bout 3 when first purchased, but o'er time still's the same. if'n i'm goin' through photos, i'm lucky if'n i can get 45 minutes out'ta either. so, i jest keep such plugged to power. when this'un croaks though, a long-lastin' battery 'tis gonna be high'n my wish list.

@Janet357 not certain i'd blame china fer such (other thingies perhaps...) - 'tis the manufacturers who allow such shoddy products to be made'n sold to the general public. they know folks've a thirst fer the latest'n newest ('xcept folks like myself, i don't replace 'til the techs tell me nothin' more can be done - usually 8-10 yrs, though i'd a desk top fer 14). no need fer quality when folks'll pay whate'er the market allows fer the next great gadget. which tend to roll out 't least e'ery 6 months 't seems.

that is true with laptop. they say it can last for 8hrs whennin fact just 4. or as time goes by it dwindles to 1 hr or less just like what you have said. most of our stuff are made in china. i wonder if this is the reason.

I am not a silk-stocking person; hence, Apple products are outside my range of buying. However, I possess a Samsung smartphone whose battery lasts for nearly a day even if I use it excessively.

my phone is samsung but since i use it non-stop, the battery is easily drained. when it.comes to battery, nokia has the longest battery life
