For the life of me, I will never understand why a freshmen student named Michael Todd was being bullied by the other students who attend Martin Luther King Jr. Prep School in Memphis Tennessee just for wearing the same clothes everyday?
What made this story have a happy ending is that two football players who attend the same school presented Michael some new clothes and some new sneakers to wear to school in a way of making a point that bullying a student for the way that he wears the same clothing for the first two weeks of the current football season will not be tolerated.
Michael know feels better than Antwan and Kristopher came to his aid after the first two weeks of Michael being bullied by other students for just wearing regular clothes in school that did not have any statements that are considered offensive by his fellow students.

How very thoughtful of the other students to give Michael some other clothes to wear. He should never have been bullied because he didn't have other clothes to wear. The students should have empathy toward his situation.

I agree with you since they could be in Michael's shoes.

It is a good thing what these two students did. other students should learn from their kindness and treat others fair

United we stand, divided we fall in life. Bullying another student is wrong at all levels in life.

That just is mean to bully someone wearing the same kind of shirt. I think some schools even implement uniforms in their school. I am happy that someone stood up for the kid and used their influence not to bully anyone and I think they should be rewarded from doing so instead of getting high on the prestige as football players they stood down and help a person in need. Those kinds of men are what we need in this times.

That's very motivational story for youngsters. I hate bullies. It is so mean and destructive to bully someone on stupid reason. Fortunately in my own school I didn't witness not a single case of bullying. I was lucky with my schoolmates indeed

There are few schools where bullying is not a huge problem.

Ahem!! It has been a while since you were a high school student (
) or you would remember bullies didn't need a reason to bully other kids!! Kids are bullied for being fat, for having too fathers, for being short, for being Jewish, for being a different, for a million different reasons.
I suspect--and hope I am wrong--he is homeless living in a car with his parents and only has one set of clothes and I admire his two fellow students for standing up for him plus giving him new clothes!!
By the way I lived in Memphis for 10 years and as much as I loved it there were more problems in schools than in NYC!
