Day 44 Promise 47 Exodus 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, “Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.” (KJV) We are in deep trouble. Every person on earth is a sinner. Romans 3:10 As it is written, “There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none who understands, there is none who seeks after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.” Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV) However, God made a way for sinners to keep their names in His book. He provided a Savior, Jesus, and everyone who accepts Him as Savior and Lord, will have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He who believes on him is not condemned: but he who believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. As Christians, you are free from the condemnation of eternal death. However, those who don’t accept Jesus as Savior and Lord face God’s final judgment. Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. There are two books. Your name is in one of those books. It is either the book in which you will be judged by your works, or it is the Book of Life because you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. Only God has the power to blot your name out of one, and does so, when you accept His Son as your Savior. However, if you don’t accept Jesus, your name is forever blotted out when He opens the books and delivers all those who reject His Son to the Lake of Fire. Which book contains your name? Let’s pray: Father, I know I am a sinner. I have no right to be with You in heaven. Satan condemns me before You every time I sin. Yet, Father, when I confess my sin, You promise to forgive because I accepted Jesus, Your Son, as my Savior. Cleanse me from every sin, and let my name be found in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
