The last two days I’ve been working on my knitting. It’s something that I do to relax or relive some stress. I have been doing any in a while. So I finally just decided that I’m going to knit this kind of funky baby yarn to make a baby blankets. So I wanted to learn a knee stitch and this is a garter stitch with dropping stitches. I’ll try to get a better picture once gets longer. The yarn color is called melon stripes.

Oh I love the color of the yarn. I really wish I was better at needlecraft but I am not. I envy those that can create things like this.

Knitting is pretty much my talent. I can craft in other ways but it takes way more focus then knitting does for me.

@ShyBear88 My mom used to crochet when I as little. I remember her sitting on the couch and crocheting things, probably up until I was around 10 or 12 years old. She couldn't crochet anymore, her dexterity just wasn't there. I tried learning for myself but no go. My aunt and mom learned from my grandmother's friend. I've tried crochet, finger knitting and loom knitting.

@ShyBear88 Honestly I think crocheting is harder. Knitting isn't so bad once you get the hang of it. I don't know that I could ever traditionally knit. I like to watch videos of people knitting sometimes though.
