Oh, here is a good motherly advice. During the summer the kids cried a lot about bug bites some where not even bites. So if I saw one I gave them actually itchy cream. But for the most part they don’t have any bug bites.
I hear most nights “mommy, I need itchy cream! I have an itchy” so do you know what I do. Get the lotion and give them a small little dap on there fingers and tell them to rub it in. Do you know what I never hear a sound about them having any more itches till the next night. Momma don’t tell them it’s not itchy cream it’s all in the mind.
Mom win!

@Janet357 I think it’s because they don’t want to go sleep.

@ShyBear88 i think kids love to be caressed their back or head when they go to bed, such makes them fall asleep.

I don’t use coconut oil it’s expensive and also I would have to check what is in it because I have a 4 year that has eczema and if has any of his allergens in it it’ll make his eczema flare up

Children sometimes need more attention. So they make some excuses to get the attention. Not always but sometimes. They believe in their mom the most. So MOM win.

If it’s not that, it’s a need more water in my water cup, or they need to go to the bathroom even though they just went.
