i don't know if i already mentioned this app, but i really enjoy it. i like to do my lectures in the morning and sometimes in the night. i do lectures at night on sundays, because monday morning is "finale" to be transferred to another league, so i have to be in top 10 (too bad i realized that two weeks ago
)
you chose the language you want to learn and you set your daily goals. you got lectures about different things - basics, phrases, food, animals, shopping etc. by reaching your daily goals you start your streak. if you don't do your lectures, you lose it.
i study russian there. i spent almost the whole summer doing at least two lectures per day and i kinda feel good about it. like it's something very useful, even though i'll maybe never have any use of it.
anyway, it's an interesting app to kill the time on. i recommend it to everyone who want to learn something new.

@aureategloom I have completed the course on Duolingo. Feeling a bit comfortable to read very basic german phrases now.

@Starkinds well, maybe it was too difficult if it doesn't have any similarities with your mother language. i find russian not too difficult because there are many similarities to my mother language.
