So UFO's are real

United States

However, they aren't "Unidentified Flying Objects" but "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena" instead. The US Navy is now saying that these things are real, but they are not claiming they are from outer space. The only reason they seem to be coming public with it is to encourage their trainees to report these objects when they are spotted. They don't seem to know what they are, however.
The US Navy has finally acknowledged footage purported to show UFOs hurtling through the air. And while officials said they don't know what the objects are, they're not indulging any hints either.

I totally believe UFO's are real..and they are extremely likely from other civilizations too. Astronauts have seen them, as well as Jimmy Carter. I am waiting until proof positive of this...that will be a red letter day in the news for sure!

I just hope that people aren't too frightened when they do become public knowledge. I think hollywood and independent film makers have made a lot of fuss over these things and made them seem a lot more dangerous than they should be. Atleast, I certainly think that had these UFOs meant to cause us harm, they already would have.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I saw this not too long ago but didn't read all of it for whatever reason. I forget but interesting either way! I personally believe in UFO's because both my dad and I saw one. This was when I was a kid but we know what we saw. And this shape of UFO has been seen all over the world. Not only that, I have a telescope that I love to look through often and there's been some questioning things up there!

We used to own a telescope but we don't anymore, and I haven't looked through one absolute years. I definitely believe in the possibility of Alien Lifeform on other planets, and I also think ti's quite possible that they can be seen in our skies. I don't think we need to fear them though, as I think they would have already caused us harm if they wanted to.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I do lean more towards there being a different or many other life forms out there. I find it hard to think we are the only beings out of all this Space ( like literally ). I can easily say UFO's are real but I can't say what is powering them.

Hmm Interesting. I still don't believe in them until there is proof of aliens. I know my boyfriend believes they are real. He has a friend in the military who told him information that made him believe. I'll believe it when I see it like everything else.

I don't know, I think there's every possibility that they are real. I don't believe that they are here to harm us though. I think that if they were, they'd have already done so. The "UFO's" that the Navy are seeing, well they are just as likely to be superior aircraft from other countries as opposed to Alien life form.

@ScribbledAdNauseum right as far as this article goes that's what I was figuring.

@shaggin Yes, and if it is a superior aircraft from another country, what is it doing over our airspace? I mean, no atter what, it opens up questions.

I think the US knows what they are and have been in contact with UFO for years.

That would not surprise me. I can't imagine that they'd visit year after year and not get in contact with us or us with them.

Until the damn things actually land somewhere, or a great bloody lot of people see them at the same time in the same space, no one will believe they are real.

I have to disagree. There are a lot of people that believe that they are real now. It's the connotation that the word UFO provokes that changes.

@Telynor I think that they do, but then I also think their technology might not be as advanced as people believe or as we'd like to think that it is. They might be able to visit us but they might not be able to do what others claim. Like, I don't believe that they have ever abducted anyone.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I'll buy that. I do believe that there are other civilizations out there, but do they have the technology to visit us? That I don't know.

Oh I see. But I believe these two are different things. Maybe UFOis from outer space and UAP is from our own.

I think that The US Navy wants to make people believe that UAP's are from Earth. I am not so sure. It's very likely that it's an unidentified flying object from another countries Government. It's also very likely that it's nothing more than a trick of the light and a person's eye. However, I still somewhat believe in the possibility of Alien life forms. I think if it is an Alien ship then they do not mean us any harm. Had they meant us harm, they would have already done so.

@ScribbledAdNauseum that's also my understanding., that's there's life beyond Earth. They may hide it now from us but there will come a time the pandoras box will be open.
