Day 49
Promise 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61
Leviticus 26:1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8 And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
10 And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
11 And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
Do you feel blessed? Or do you see someone else with all the blessings and you wonder where your blessings are and why someone else seems to have all the luck?
It’s not luck, and those blessings God told Moses belonged to the children of Israel if they obeyed his commandments, laws, and statutes would be with them always. The only requirement for God’s blessings was obedience.
If you accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord, all those blessings are yours too as His child. God is no respecter of persons. What He does for one of His children, He will do for all of them. The reason you don’t see the blessings in your life is because you don’t believe they are for you. You believe you need to earn them. You don’t earn God’s blessings. Just as you don’t earn salvation. Salvation is yours, free and clear through the sacrifice Jesus made for you on the cross with His shed blood.
God gave Moses a lot of laws the people needed to follow, along with all the consequences if they disobeyed those laws. The only requirement for God’s blessing is obedience. See what is yours if you obey God.
1. He will bring rain so your crops grow – What that means for you today – He will provide work so you can feed yourself and your family.
2. You will live in safety. With all the violence in the world today, God promises to keep you safe. Even if you should die because of the violence, you are safe in the arms of Jesus when you enter eternity.
3. He will bring peace to your lives. With God as your God and Jesus as your Savior, and the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, there is nothing for you to be afraid or worry. God will take care of you.
4. He will rid the land of evil beasts. As Christians, the evil beast is Satan. He will keep Satan far from you.
5. Your enemies will fall before you. What better way to destroy an enemy than to make him a friend, a friend who turns their life over to Jesus Christ.
6. You will put your enemies to flight. With prayer, you can chase away all Satan’s demons and they will not come near you.
7. God will multiply you and make you fruitful. You will have children and wealth.
8. He will set up His tabernacle and live with you. He will send the Holy Spirit to live in you and teach you everything you need to know.
When you live in obedience to God’s Word, He will bring His blessings on your life and people will see your blessings. God wants to bless you. If you are His child, they are yours, you only need to reach out and accept them.
Let’s pray: Father, let Your blessings fall like rain on my life. Let me be a blessing to others as You bless me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

I don't understand most of the figurative language. I celebrate with those who do.

That's why there are people who understand and can help those who don't understand the Bible. I hope you're having a good day.
