My parents were sticklers about solutions. We were not allowed to complain about anything unless we had at least one possible solution. It is a lesson that has stuck with me all these years. Often when someone comes with a complaint I reply, Great observation and when you have a possible solution, I would love to continue this conversation. Is that lesson you were taught?

no. but we were td always that we will suffer from the consequences of our actions.

No, I was never taught that lesson; and I tried not to complain about anything.
