Day 53 Promise 82 Numbers 12:5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth. 6 And he said, “Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.” (KJV) Books about dreams and visions and their interpretations are easy to find in bookstores and online. God told Miriam and Aaron He would give His prophets dreams and visions when they came against Moses believing he shouldn’t be the only one to have a close connection with God. As Christians, you have a close connection with God. God promised He would pour out His Spirit on all those who put their faith and trust in Him. Not only a select few as He did in the wilderness or before He sent Jesus to be your Savior. Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. (KJV) God’s promise to pour out His Spirit on His people with dreams and visions wasn’t only for the time His people were in the wilderness, but it is also for you if you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. You don’t need to go to the bookstores or online to find out the meaning of your dreams and visions, God will give you the meaning. It will be clear to you as it was to those He gave His Spirit to in the wilderness. Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (KJV) Acts 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye who dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my hand maidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. God gives the interpretation for dreams and visions. You do not need to rely on any other source. Other sources are not of God, but of man. Let’s pray: Father, You said You would pour out Your Spirit on Your people. Let Your Holy Spirit rest on me and tell me what I need to know. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
