Don Henley's On My Mind

I am not usually one to focus a lot on celebrities, but I've had Don Henley on my mind a lot lately. The man is 72 years old, I think I first heard his music (at all) when I was around 12, and I'm soon to be 33. I remember seeing an Eagles concert special on the television, and I was stunned by Henley's voice right off. When he dies, I have to admit it's going to devastate me, given how long his music has been a part of my life. Is there a musician that you love that has written a lot of songs in the "soundtrack of your life" that you think of as irreplaceable?
