Yearning for yam jam.

Last night I read a post about leche flan, one of my favorite desserts that is made of milk and eggs. When I woke up it seemed like I am dreaming about yam jam from Baguio City. It is made and sold in a convent called Good Shepherd.

It's sickly sweet and a very unusual colour, if the recipe I found is to be believed!

It sounds interesting, although I am sure I would prefer fig jam.
