Elizabeth Short died in January 1947, she became known in death as the Black Dahlia, and the details of her death are actually too disturbing for me to print here. When I was younger, I read and watched quite a bit about her case. At one point I wanted to be a criminal profiler. To my knowledge, the crime remains unsolved to this day. While Hollywood is generally known for glitz, glory & glamour, the death of Elizabeth Short is one of it's darkest tragedies.
