National Drink Beer Day Fish Amnesty Day National Ghost Hunting Day 1892 - The first American football night game is held. 1928 - Alexander Fleming notices a bacteria-killing mold in his laboratory, which turns out to be penicillin. 1968 - Naomi Watts was born. She is an English-Australian actress and producer. She became well known after her appearance in Mulholland Drive. Some of her other movies: The Ring, 21 Grams, I Heart Huckabees, King Kong, The Impossible Birdman, St. Vincent, Luce and the Divergent franchise. 1964 - Harpo Marx died. He was born in 1888. He was an American comedian, actor, singer, mime artist and musician. Harpo never spoke in his appearances with brothers Groucho and Chico - The Marx Brothers. He used pantomime, whistled or honked a horn. He wore a reddish blonde wig and played the harp in most of his film appearances. Some of his better known films: Animal Crackers, Monkey Business, Horse Feathers, Duck Soup, A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races, Room Service and Stage Door Canteen.
