This Day has been a Sad day for me / myLot

I found out today that my former brother in law passed away. That in it's self made me very sad, but what made me feel worse was that no one had let me know he passed in May. The family all knows how to get a hold of me .My ex husband passed in 1985 but I have always felt like his family was still part of my family. They all like my current husband so it isn't because I am married to someone else. I think I was just forgotten. I seldom go to Facebook but always get my Facebook messages because of messenger. Jim was a great guy and one of my favorite people . I am heartbroken that he is gone. So have you ever had this kind of thing happen to you where no one tells you? Being left out makes me sad.

It does happen and more than twice its happened to me as well so I know that feeling very well it as all to do with very close family so I did not expect it either. All condolences to you and all concerned.

Thank You very much. This happened a couple of other times with us . My husbands biological father had passed and we didn't find out for months afterwards.

Sorry about your loss. I went though a similar thing a few months ago. Yep it was not a good time for me when I found out. Mu uncle's wife passed. Leaving him alone at 90 y/o. I even talked to him and he forgot to tell me with his dementia.

Bless his heart , I know what dementia can do. My mom went to live in a Nursing home before she passed because her dementia was causing her to forget so bad sometimes. She was kind of afraid she might might walk off and forget how to get home.So she made the choice to move .

My ex mother in law use to tell me that just because Loyed and I Divorced didn't mean I had divorced the family.

my condolences. yes iv been told of peoples passing months after. i dont feel left out, i understand that im not as socially active on the internet like most people. im a bit of a social media anti-socialist.

I use to be fairly active on Facebook but with all the negativity on it ,I just stop by once in awhile to check on family members. I use Twitter more now .

Sorry to hear about your loss. I didn't know that one of my best friends from High School had passed away two years ago until I spoke with his younger brother recently.

I am sorry to hear that. I had something like that happen to me a couple of weeks ago. One of the boys in my class had passed I didn't find out till much later
